They handle everyday stains you encounter while you're out: coffee, tea, wine, beer, fruit juice, soft drink, sauces, ketchup, jam, syrup, light makeup and water-based ink. Independent manufacturer testing also confirms the wipe works on oil and soy sauce when the stain is treated quickly. It performs best on water-soluble marks and light organic matter caught before they set.

Are there stains it won't remove?

Honest limits matter. A gentle, water-based wipe cannot replace heavy solvents, enzymes or oxidising agents. It will struggle with heavy grease or cooking fats, wax and resin-based stains like lipstick, crayon, candle wax or shoe polish, permanent markers, ballpoint pen, hair dye, denim colour transfer, and any stain that has already set or been heat-dried. Older or heavy protein stains such as blood, grass, chocolate or baby food usually need an enzymatic cleaner. POCKET WIPES are for first-response moments — the sooner you dab, the better the result.

Yes. The wipe's primary cleaning agent, Coco-Glucoside, is a non-ionic surfactant that works harmoniously with the anionic surfactants in standard laundry detergents. It won't neutralise your detergent or interfere with a normal machine wash.

Not without rinsing first. The wipe contains a mild acidic buffer system (citric acid and sodium citrate). If you plan to use chlorine bleach, thoroughly rinse the treated area with fresh water first to wash away those acidic components. For a safer alternative, use an oxygen-based, colour-safe bleach — it won't react the same way.

Can I dry clean the garment after using the wipe?

Only with care. Dry-cleaning solvents may not fully dissolve or flush away the water-soluble residues left by the wipe, such as glycerin and surfactant. On structured, non-washable garments like silk, suede, or tailored wool, point out the treated spot to your dry cleaner so they can pre-rinse it before machine processing. Left untreated, those residues can attract moisture and dust, creating a dark ring over time.

Do I need to rinse the area after using the wipe?

For everyday washable fabrics, a normal wash is enough. If the item is dry-clean only, or if you plan to follow up with chlorine bleach, rinse the spot with fresh water first. Otherwise, simply dab and let air dry.
